Corries Caves and CoastCorries Caves and Coast - The Geological Heritage of Co Waterford, was launched recently at the Copper Coast Centre by the Chief of the Heritage Council, Michael Starrett. The book received support from the Heritage Council and the Geological Survey of Ireland.
The book is written by Matthew Parkes, Robert Meehan and Sophie Préteseille, and includes details of caves, slate quarries, mines and coastal features of Co Waterford
The book is beautifully designed and is full of wonderful colour photographs. It is available From the Civic Offices, Dungarvan and the Copper Coast Centre www.coppercoastgeopark.com at the cost of €10.
