Our annual book sale was held over the bank holiday weekend and it was a great success attracting hundreds of visitors. The sale was held again this year on the premises of Garvey's Super Valu and a big thank you to the management for providing us with the premises and to the Abbeyside Scouts who provided us with tables for the event.
The book sale is one of our main fund raising events and we are delighted with the proceeds of the weekend.
A big thank you to all who helped transport the books and who gave their time over the weekend, but espically Eddie Cantwell who sorted and priced all the books over the last couple of months and over saw the running of the sale over the weekend.
Proceeds from the sale will go towards developing various museum projects.
