Waterford County Museum Christmas Get-together

A very enjoyable night was had by all who attended our Christmas Get-together on Friday last, 14th December. The night began with an opening  address from Padraig O'Cuirrín, Museum President.

A presentation was made by Julian Walton to the Museum of an Indenture dated 1701 between John Stephens of Dromina & Richard Christmas.
  • Music was provided by Seán Fitzgerald.
  • Story telling and songs by Margo Kehoe, Orla Glascot  nee O'Keeffe , Julian Walton, Joe Power, John Daly and Matt Connelly.
  • Exhibition of Irish dancing by our own Ml. Flately aka Séamus Fraher.
Hot finger food and mulled wine was provided by Jitter Beans which went down a treat.

A quiz was organised by William Fraher where people had the opportunity to identify some of the unusual artifacts held by the Museum. Congratulations to Tom Kehoe, winner of the quiz.

A special word of thanks to our event organiser Eddie Cantwell.
