Waterford County Museum Maritime Exhibition

On Thursday  2nd May the Museum launched its Maritime Exhibition. The exhibition was officially opened by Museum President, Padraig Ó'Cuirrín. Guest speaker was Silvester O'Muiri, An Rinn, also in attendance was County Mayor Billy Kyne.

Artefacts from the Lusitania,(courtesy of Eoin McGarry) and various tools from The Wooden & Iron Ship Building era, (courtesy of Andy Kelly) were on display.

The Maritime Exhibition will be on display for some time so feel free to call in.

 

Opening Hours over the Bank Holiday Weekend 2-5pm Sat, Sun.& Mon.

Normal Opening Hours 10am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Saturday Opening 1-5pm,  June to September
