National Drawing Day

The Group Working On Their Display

The National Drawing Day held on Saturday May 22nd was a great success here in the museum.  The event  took place between 11.am and 1.pm. The theme for the day was "The Sea" and the children were busy under the watchful eye of Darren Moynihan and Tony Hayes.  Some lovely drawings and paintings of sea life were produced by the children and all these were transfered to a large background sheet, which now hangs in the museum hallway for all to see.

The day was organised by Helen Moynihan, educational co-ordinator and we would like to thank all committee members, staff, and the boys from the Christian Brother's school  that helped to make the day a success.
